VertomCory was created in 2021 when two leading shipping agencies: Vertom (est. 1974) decided to acquire Cory Brothers (est. 1842) after a decade of fruitful cooperation. We are committed to building lasting relationships based on loyalty and trust, resulting in mutual success. In 2023, we expanded our services by acquiring Monson, further strengthening our presence in the Asia-Pacific region.

Vertom (est. 1974) decided to acquire Cory Brothers (est. 1842) after a decade of fruitful cooperation – VertomCory is created.
1974
Vertom B.V. was founded by Ton Pols in 1974. At the time, Vertom was located in the Rotterdam port district, employed 20 people and had three ships.
Now, they are a leading maritime agency with a fleet of over 120 modern bulk vessels.

Cory Brothers was created in Cardiff, Wales as shipbrokers and coal exporters. Over 180 years later, they have evolved into a leading provider of logistics and port agency services.
