Port Agent Hobart

Hobart Port Agency Services

Keep your vessels on schedule at Tasmania's capital port on the Derwent River estuary. VertomCory covers Hobart from the Burnie office, managing port agency and husbandry for general cargo, bulk, cruise, and Antarctic research vessel traffic at this historic port that combines commercial operations at Macquarie Wharf and Risdon with a growing cruise programme and its unique role as a gateway port for Australian Antarctic Division expeditions to the Southern Ocean.

Streamlined Cargo and Cruise Operations at Hobart

Reduce delays with pre-arrival coordination of Derwent River pilotage, berthing at Macquarie Wharf or Risdon, and TasPorts authority liaison managed by the Burnie team. Australian Border Force customs clearance, DAFF biosecurity formalities, and cargo documentation are completed ahead of arrival. Cruise calls receive specific passenger documentation, port health requirements, and shore excursion coordination. Antarctic vessel calls receive the specific provisioning and documentation support these expeditions require.

Stay compliant with Australian biosecurity, TasPorts environmental, and Tasmanian state requirements throughout the call. Documentation, DPIPWE biosecurity clearance, and any cruise or Antarctic-specific formalities are managed on your behalf.
