Moerdijk Port Agency Services

Keep your chemical carriers on schedule at this Rhine-Meuse chemical and industrial port between Rotterdam and Antwerp. VertomCory covers Moerdijk from the Rhoon headquarters, managing port agency for chemical tanker and industrial cargo traffic at this facility on the Hollands Diep waterway that hosts a major chemical industry cluster including Shell, LyondellBasell, and other chemical manufacturers with their own jetty facilities.

Streamlined Chemical Terminal Operations at Moerdijk

Reduce delays with pre-arrival coordination of inland waterway pilotage, Hollands Diep navigation, and berthing at the relevant chemical terminal. EU customs clearance, cargo documentation, and chemical cargo-specific requirements including hazmat declarations and safety data documentation are managed by the Rhoon team ahead of arrival. Terminal-specific loading protocols and chemical safety procedures are coordinated alongside standard port formalities.

Stay compliant with Dutch and EU environmental, chemical handling, and customs regulations throughout the call. Tank cleaning and slops disposal are arranged through approved Moerdijk-area contractors who hold the necessary environmental permits for chemical waste. MARPOL documentation, RWS waterway filings, and RIVM environmental notifications are completed before departure.
